Welcome to Note Studio
Note Studio is a rich text editor built right into Onshape. Keep your documentation next to the models it belongs to. Notes follow your document through branches, versions, and merges. To get started, follow the steps below. If you are seeing this page inside a document, please submit a bug report ↗
1. Insert a Note Studio tab
Open an Onshape document, click the + button, and select Note Studio within the Applications list.
2. Open a panel view
Open notes specific to your Part Studios, Assemblies, and Drawings using the extension icons.
3. Start documenting
Write your notes, insert example content, and use the toolbar to format your documentation.
